Great tool for Home Education. Amy is so clear and lessons are truly geared for beginners of all ages. Great resource for teaching all ages conversational French, we are ages 48 and 9! Thank You : )

It's obvious that she's not a native French speaker (she has a pretty strong English accent when speaking French). If you're looking to improve your accent when speaking French, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Otherwise, it's a good place to start for beginners!

I've been in french going on 4 years now and I'm surprised on how I learned something new in just one lesson (:

Honestly- if you're brand new to the French language and want to start from somewhere, this is an okay resource. However, I would not make it a go-to. The information is not bad, but her accent is not very good. She does not make the information interesting, which may prevent new francophones...Read full review »

A bit slow paced and robotic. Some things aren't fully explained. However you will learn some basic French

I think the format, pronunciation, everything is great, except I haven't been able to get very far because I don't know the order of the lessons...what is the first one? actually, can someone give me the order of the whole thing if possible?

These are great lessons... Amy is a clear speaker and she doesn't rush through her sentences. Well done Amy! I'm an Aussie from down under... And I have been searching for good lessons... I think I have found them. :)

Amy! This is great! I am living in Paris for a few months and started taking a beginners French course and hated it! I have found your presentations easy to follow and I can always go back and review! Thanks!

These lectures contain useful and well-presented information. The only problem is that this information is geared toward beginners who need to hear a proper French accent when vocabulary is being presented to them. Many words are pronounced inaccurately. (The letter 'e' in French is a schwa, not...Read full review »

I am enjoying these classes with Amy very much. I've always wanted to learn it, and have come a long way just from the podcasts available. Except these are so much more enjoyable. I don't have to print out the materials- everything appears on the screen and media device of my choice. The...Read full review »

I freaking love this. I'm already talking a bit French and I use this to cheat on my French test at school. I'm only 16 years old and now I can have a French conversation with this French girl at my school.

Amy's accent is fine for us non-native French speakers. In college, I had a teacher with the accent of a chauvinistic Parisian. When in France, I always tried to emulate that "pure" accent and probably sounded very foolish. Recently, I took a refresher course with a French Canadian. (Not the...Read full review »

Amy is clear for those who have never heard it before. Somtimes we listen to native speakers in these lessons & they speak in such a way that you can't even make out how to break down a word for simple pronunciation because of their native tounge accent. With time your pronunciation will grow to...Read full review »

Um, French lessons from an undergraduate with a pretty dismal accent speaking English 90% of the time. Don't bother.

This is an excellent vodcast (video podcast)!. The presenter is very friendly. She clearly and slowly pronounces the individual words in the sentences. She explains when to use the different phrases in an easily understandable way. A must-have for anyone who wishes to learn elementary French!
