I was led here by Annalisa’s column in The Guardian. Her responses are always insightful, sensitive and objective. The episode on the dynamics within sibling relationships was illuminating and I look forward to listening more. Top rated hug quality content, thank you Annalisa!

I really like the variety of this podcast and the different topics it covers. Annalisa also has a clever way of getting the most out of the guests and asking them questions in a way that is really probing. The only episode that this doesn’t apply to is the one about Narcissists. Nothing wrong...Read full review »

I knew Annalisa Barbieri from The Guardian columns, and the podcast doesn’t disappoint. The fact that it’s always different and “specialised” professionals to take on the subject of the day creates a rich variety of voices and approaches that makes it likelier for one to find insights, useful...Read full review »

Annalisa’s training as a journalist shines through this series but it’s the emotional heart she puts into it that draws the listener in. She inserts herself into the narrative as a listener rather than an author. Can’t recommend her approach and the learnings from it more highly.

Annalisa is thorough and unbiased in her research , her clever questioning in this format is so accessible and has the perfect pace to offer anyone who listens some clarity in whichever topic she is delving into . These podcasts are broad in topic and yet all seem so relevant , I will happily...Read full review »

I’m rubbish at getting round to writing reviews, but felt it was important to support Annalisa’s work in all the ways I’m able. I found Annalisa Barbieri through her Guardian column - and she really stands out in that she’s so often pretty matter of fact when others I read dance around an issue through either poor skills or disinterest or just their ego is too visible and the column is actually about them preening in...Read full review »

Really valuable and thoughtful, thank you so much! It would be 5 star for me but I find the adverts bursting in so loudly so at variance with the nature of the podcast. I appreciate that you rely on having adverts, but the way they crash in out of the blue is hard to hear!
