Gave it a go.
So far I have not subscribed, I will wait a bit. But, so far, it seems a bit too 'Radiolab' (WNYC) for my taste. Or, I'm just a bit old :-) Good information, though. So I listened to more and was struck by the voices of the presenters. Alan has a strong Australian accent, nevertheless he uses marked American (USA) pronunciation. Amanda sounds all-American, which she may well be. Nothing wrong with that, but I wonder why? Will not subscribe. The most recent Science Friction (Natasha Mitchell ABC RN program/podcast) has also gone the way of Radiolab - people finishing others' sentences, for example. Again, why?Read full review »

Really well tuned show to suit all ages/genders:) and a wonderfull on-air synergy between Dr. Alan Duffy, theoretical astronomer and Dr Amanda Bauer observational astronomer. This is by far the best science podcast I’ve listened to, every episode is mind blowing. The way the hosts explain everything is wonderfully simple to understand and it’s a joy to listen to. It’s by far my favourite way to learn about the wonders of our universe. Please make more!
