Somewhat useful
Mostly useful and clear. However, I found some episodes far too black and white around emotions that doesn’t consider some of the complexities around relational dynamics such as power dynamics living in systematically racist and patriarchal society. Such as when she talked about the emotion jealousy, basically saying don’t be jealous it’s toxic. That’s unhealthy pop cultures view on a normal human emotion that we all feel. In fact, given how patriarchy impacts how men often chose to respond to womens concerns about their behaviors such as boundaries with other people , playing manipulative games etc. that especially in hetro relationships is something that really need to be in context when we talk about the “demonized” emotions such as jealousy and anger. Yes it can be toxic of course but it’s how we respond to our jealousy and how we communicate our feelings that counts. This leads to healthy vulnerability that can build trust over time (this between people who use assertive empathetic communication in uncomfortable conversations of course).

This is one tool I use in a busy work week to sharpen my skills. Although my family are in different fields of work, they are often intrigued and start listening as well. The only thing that I would change is fixing a few moments in a few episodes where her sentences are cut off at pivotal times.
