This is probably the best podcast I have found regarding this subject matter. The episode about bpd really spoke to me and I learned a great deal from it! Thank you Doc Snipes.

This is one tool I use in a busy work week to sharpen my skills. Although my family are in different fields of work, they are often intrigued and start listening as well. The only thing that I would change is fixing a few moments in a few episodes where her sentences are cut off at pivotal times.

Mostly useful and clear. However, I found some episodes far too black and white around emotions that doesn’t consider some of the complexities around relational dynamics such as power dynamics living in systematically racist and patriarchal society. Such as when she talked about the emotion...Read full review »

Can’t hear episodes lately: the volume is too low. The content is great.

Some good content, but the host’s voice and pacing honestly stresses me out. She’s very pressured and intense in her speech patterns, which I find difficult to listen to.

She is providing priceless information to the general public at no cost. Has a way of presenting heavy topics in a lighthearted way and does not over explain. Gives insight and hope that seemingly insurmountable issues can be overcome in a practical way (if you put in the work). Truly a gift! I...Read full review »

Absolutely amazing podcasts. As a newbie to mental health topics I find Dr Dawn very accessible, clear to understand and easy to remember. Thank you! Could you do a podcast on Highly Sensitive People and trauma? Just something I would like to hear more about if possible!

I have listened to these fore years, through school and now as a therapist obtaining my licensure hours. They are fantastic refreshers and I learn something new everyday. Dawn is very descriptive and helpful. She does talk very fast at times.

I’m a fast talker, and even I can’t keep up! I’m listening to the HPA-Axis episode, and not only can I not follow because she’s talking so fast, it’s legit stressing me out! Gah!

Some good material. Just the podcast is very fast. Maybe to slowdown with the presentation and to relax the voice a little. It can be jarring to listen to which is a shame as this is a podcast.

I’ve listen to a dozen and I really don’t think it’s helpful and the host harbors racist ideology

Content actually seems to be good and insightful, however the flow seems to be truncated with the constant editing of sentences and the overall tempo and volume is so high it’s anxiety inducing. If this could vw altered and SLOWED down I think it could be great.

These podcasts are brilliant. So much insightful information and psycho education. The only issue is it’s badly edited - so it cuts off sentences & makes it difficult to follow. Wish it was edited differently!
