I just listened to the shaggy Ziggy interview and I was disappointed. You interview them like you know more about Jamaican food than they do. Also when toi asked Shaggy what he has for breakfast, you interrupted him to tell him what YOU had for breakfast. The podcast felt very much about you, yet...Read full review »

The host and production of every episode I’ve played is so enjoyable. I asked myself “why am I enjoying this pod so much?”… The answer: JOY!!! I’m laughing out loud, smiling and learning. The pod is such a departure from Food 52s snobby, pretentious monolithic tone. I’m super happy I gave it a...Read full review »

I don't leave many reviews, but needed to flag this as truly exceptional. I finally listened to the podcast today in the car (I need time away from work and children to enjoy anything these days). The Fufu episode was wonderful. Peter's memory of time in Cameroon was at once reverent,...Read full review »

I literally LOL’d listening to four Korean Americans tell their food stories. I can relate to all of them! Great format of weaved in snippets of convos to stitch the stories together. Peter is a natural interviewer! And I love Peter’s ramen “karbonara” recipe! Looking forward to future episodes!
