actually enjoying those books
What I like about this podcast is the ample amount of explanation to enhance my understanding, and thus my enjoyment, of each episode. This is especially helpful with books that are many decades old- arcane language or literary references would otherwise get lost. Like my own personal annotated reference, but better, because Heather knows what's actually helpful to know to "get" the material. Some of these have been books that made me roll my eyes, remembering my less-than-interesting high school encounters with them. Great to listen to when crafting or doing dishes or laundry. North and South is the best book, and I never would have found it without CraftLit. Heather does an awesome job giving insight into the books, and her voice is so relaxing!

I only just recently found craftlit, but i'm in love. The books, the commentary on the books, the crafting, and the life stories are absolutely delightful.
