actually enjoying those books
What I like about this podcast is the ample amount of explanation to enhance my understanding, and thus my enjoyment, of each episode. This is especially helpful with books that are many decades old- arcane language or literary references would otherwise get lost. Like my own personal annotated reference, but better, because Heather knows what's actually helpful to know to "get" the material. Some of these have been books that made me roll my eyes, remembering my less-than-interesting high school encounters with them. (like Jane Eyre) And even though I knit little, I do enjoy the crafty chatter.Read full review »

I love Craftlit for the classics she provides for viewers to listen to at their convenience. I even enjoy some of he chatter. I'm captured by Heather's sorry about Post-911 medical troubles and her insight into literature which is great to listen to while knitting. I'm really looking forward to the Frankenstein commentary.
