“What I like about this podcast is the ample amount of explanation to enhance my understanding, and thus my enjoyment, of each episode. This is especially helpful with books that are many decades old- arcane language or literary references would otherwise get lost. Like my own personal annotated reference, but better, because Heather knows what's actually helpful to know to "get" the material. Some of these have been books that made me roll my eyes, remembering my less-than-interesting high school encounters with them.
