Very good, with one caveat
I really enjoy this podcast and wish it had been around long years ago when I taught English to high schoolers. I really could have been a much, much better teacher. My only reason for not purchasing a paid subscription is that it just takes too long to read a book. This is my first book with Heather--"The Count of Monte Cristo"--and it's already been 18 months since we started. By now I've lost track of some of the threads in the book. I may purchase a subscription once this one is over, and then I'll be able to download all episodes of former books studied on this podcast and binge listen instead of wait a week or more for every episode.Read full review »

I have been listening for several years - a very well done podcast, I want to say professional, but its much warmer than that. Heather obviously loves literature, and loves teaching, and she conveys information in a collaborative, can't-wait-to share-this-with-you kind of style.Read full review »

Great books, well read, broken into segments and interspersed with crafty and general life story goodness. Perfection.

Great to listen to when crafting or doing dishes or laundry. North and South is the best book, and I never would have found it without CraftLit. Heather does an awesome job giving insight into the books, and her voice is so relaxing!
