Actually helpful, well rounded content.
I consume a lot of content similar to this as I speculate about venturing into the world of content creation, while working inna different field. Selfishly, I don't think I've ever left a review before, but felt compelled after listening to many episodes of this show. Other similar shows I have found provide valuable insights, but at the end of the day seem to be purely perpetuating what seems like the current trend of "course sellers teaching other people how to sell courses on how to sell courses." It almost seems like a well masked, decentralized pyramid scheme that is a bubble primed to burst in a short time. Jay certainly talks about courses, his own, and their value in general, but doesn't suggest that this is THE path to success online. Rather, it is the route he has taken, and he speaks about his experience with online platforms through that lense. As someone who would like to build a brand online, I value this show because it explains broader concepts of content creation such as engagement, growth, partnerships and brand deals, production, and varying revenue streams, just to name a few that are applicable to just about any content creator. He also talks about more personal topics, such as balancing this lifestyle with family and home life, scale of sacrifice to success, mistakes made along the way, and in general how hard it can be along with the rewards. Valuable, real content. Thanks for continuing to produce it.Read full review »

The fact that Jay focuses on a topic many have attempted to explore is a gift to us all. Unlike most shows exploring creativity, Jay sets aside his own ego and assumes the role of guide. This show is refreshing and sorely needed. A total cut above.
