Menners and his crew have been providing entertaining updates of the Australian & World cricketing landscape for well over a decade. As an expat for the last 14 years, this podcast has been invaluable to me as I have been able to remain in touch with all things Australian cricket. ...Read full review »

Been listening for years. Love the informed cricket opinions, and the parochial rants. I am fine with his bias because he doesn’t hide it. Respect how much women’s and men’s cricket Menners follows and reports on.

The last mad menners… trying to stay positive but this could be a reality. How India have grown over the years. From a team that could never win away… with Green gone we have to beat or draw with India and Sri Lanka, and we have SO got to stick up those bloody poms

What happened to co-host Paul Dennett? His contrasting viewpoints and interesting takes was the best part of the podcast. Quality has really dropped since his departure. Still worth a listen and one of the few podcasts to provide daily updates, but not the same without Paul.

Menners’s monomaniacal hatred of the English ruins any objectivity on the great game.
Sacvar via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 12/15/23
Regrettably, there has been quite a decline since Paul (and I believe Jelissa?) have left. Menners, with all respect, is quite inarticulate and his temper and aggression can, at times, detract from the podcast, whilst also appearing very unprofessional. I hope another suitable host can be found...Read full review »

Unleash another rant please Menners - unload on tears Morgan and the rest of these spuds! They are delusional if they think they are the better side… BTW keep up the good work - enjoyed the show during the ashes ✅ BC from Melbourne

Fan for many years. However quality has greatly diminished in recent times as host has found a niche of other rage fuelled cricket fans who enable him to act out his delusions to a larger audience.

Menners your rants at times are painful .. however your last rant when you went full blast at the English .. comedic goal. We played it on full speaker system at an Australian army mess and we all loved it. Not to mention that it was 1000% true and on point.

Mad Menners on Bairstow is one of the best episodes of a podcast you will ever hear.

Loved it, everything I’ve wanted to say about the Poms to the T. Thanks Menners you spoke for me.👍👏

This is the best cricket podcast going around and I absolutely love Menners. But I’ve got to say, Paul’s love of England has gone too far during this Ashes series. Paul against Australia has become very similar to the Warnie against Mitchell Starc pantomime. C’mon Paul give it a break please.
happychappy1234 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 07/03/23
Good banter among the hosts. Some of Paul’s ideas around team selection tend to the hyperbolic (Tim David in the Test 11–Yikes!) but all in good spirit. Overall, an informative and entertaining podcast and well worth a listen.

I am a big fan of the podcast. However the most recent episode on the India Aus World test championship final sounded very lacklustre. Very little homework appears to have been done. Just reading out statistics doesn’t add much. Jaidev Unadkat was ruled out of the series weeks ago. Still they...Read full review »

The main presenter is very annoying and very amateur no journalistic skills whatsoever.

Loving the boys and girls, in my opinion Steve smith is already the captain though… look who they turn to for direction on the field… I think Labs is the next captain though 👍👍

Worth a listen, I just don’t understand why Menners hates Pat Cummins so much. Having that much salt in your diet after the sacking of Langer is bad for your heart.

Wonderful reflections on each days play for a very average summer of the great game! I calculated only 702 of a maximum 1350 overs for the 3 tests aus vs sth africa were bowled and 679 overs of a possible 900 overs were bowled aus vs west indies… thats approx 53% of the game was played over the...Read full review »

Thanks for breaking the hiatus and reviewing what’s been an enjoyable Sri Lankan tour so far. I hope the tests inspire you to come back early - it’s always amusing and informative to hear you.

If you want a passionate cricket podcast. You need to listen and watch this show! Andrew & his team know all about the sport and actually dive into the politics of the sport! Great show, there’s a reason why this show is still going strong week after week!

Love this show, it’s the ultimate arm chair critic podcast. They get nothing right, between Menners ridiculous predictions and Paul’s absurd team selections - you get a good cricket debate as well as a laugh.

I have really warmed to this podcast. Knowledgeable and passionate fans of cricket. A wonderful and well established vibe between the three (sometimes) hosts. Interesting cricket podcast from a couple of passionate cricket fans. One of the hosts seems to be slightly unstable but it is generally entertaining. It’s quite Sydney centric and may not be for everyone, but give it a go.

For a non Australian, It’s hard to make sense of, or reconcile with Menzel’s needless aggression against English cricket and the display of extreme parochialism(like how he is now argues the cricketers be prioritised over “ordinary citizens” to be brought back to Australia. However, having been a...Read full review »

Unsubscribed! Disgusted with the way the host, Manners, spoke down to an Indian chap they had on as a guest last year. It was quite rude and I was quite stunned by it. Too many cringey and petulant moments from the host. It just built up and became too much for me. Pity, because the pod has some...Read full review »

Menners, again covering key points of interest for us all and clearly the best Aussie cricket podcast. I even forgive your occasional chip at Victorians and especially the AFL, all in good fun no doubt. With a big summer coming up I’m looking forward to your ongoing contribution. Regards to all.

Amdrew and Paul talk longer than and over the top of Jelisa and are quite dismissive of her having an opinion they don’t agree with. It’s become noticeably worse over the last few weeks. Female tokenism at its finest.
