I’m curious why the internal affairs investigation into some of the state troopers is left out of this podcast. Also Trooper Proctor is suspended, was that mentioned? And why is the FBI investigation into the handling of the case by local law enforcement not mentioned either? Did you include the medical examiner’s finding that the death of John O’Keefe was undetermined or did I miss that? The accident reconstruction and biomechanics experts called by the defense at trial were hired by the FBI, making them neutral to the case. Their reports were offered to both the prosecution and defense during the trial. Why not mention that either? I’m not sure Mr. Phelps understands the basics of how members of law enforcement are supposed to conduct themselves while on the job.

So I’m a huge Paper Ghosts fan and I love that I can still listen to Phelps weekly. I love his voice and I love the banter with producer. She is a great addition to the episodes. I love you M. William Phelps!
