Game changing podcast when I found it. Coaches Mike and Robbie changed my mental approach to training by consistently emphasizing that you should be having FUN while training and racing. Their genuine friendship comes across in the podcast and further emphaiszes that training and racing is great...Read full review »

There’s a treasure trove of helpful info in these podcast episodes. Huge bonus: it’s never boring! I’m still relatively new to triathlon and have learned so much from the Crushing Iron podcasts. It also stokes my enthusiasm for training. Thank you!

I have gained so much knowledge listening to this podcast. I love the content, the ease of the conversation, they are funny, the information is gold and I have gained so much confidence from the chin up. I have been thinking of getting a coach from C26 because of the wealth of knowledge!! Thank...Read full review »

Crushing Iron is an opportunity to learn about the behind-the-scenes thoughts of triathlon coaches —some of the good, some of the bad, and some of the ugly—but mostly uplifting and motivational. Keep up the good work, gents!

I listen to a lot of triathlon related podcasts for entertainment, I love the sport. But rarely is there so much usable information in one place. It’s also a great format, just a couple of friends talking about a sport they love…and giving amazing advice along the way.

I have been a fan of the podcast for the past several years and am I regular listener. However, recently Robbie has gotten extremely negative. He goes on rants that are hard to listen to. Not sure what he is going through but he seems like he doesn’t even enjoy coaching or triathlons anymore....Read full review »

I’ve been listening to current episodes for a while, decided to start from the beginning and work my way through. I’m a long time hobby triathlete, 66 years old and still training and racing. This podcast has been a godsend for me, as I’m largely a solitary athlete and am infrequently around...Read full review »

Can’t wait for new episodes to be released! Robbie and Mike keep the conversation going. Robbie’s experience based observations are spot on, and when I’m thinking of skipping a day (for no good reason), I dial up up the archives and listing to Mike and Robbie and it gets me going. One...Read full review »

I was a coached athlete for a couple years. While training for long distance, it was great. But when I switched to sprints and Olympics, he went radio silent. I hence stopped coaching but kept listening to the podcast. After several months with a new coach and speaking with a therapist, we were...Read full review »

I love the podcast, it helped get me into Triathlon last year! And it has kept me motivated since then. Every episode makes me want to get out and exercise. Thank you guys for such a reliably great show. Only wish to balance out those who say otherwise: please curse more, not less.

Lots of good insights. They speak all the important subjects that go through your head when you are going to make an Ironman.

I must have listened to a couple hundred of your podcasts last year while I trained for my fourth IronMan. I would scroll through the list and look for a topic that I felt was important for me during that day’s gym workout or run. You are great motivators and coaches. Don’t stop at 1,000!

Good entertainment and an easy listen. They don’t try to be super informative per se which is a nice change but can’t be a little ranty and repetitive

Everytime I listen to their podcast, it feels like they are doing an intervention for me. Great podcast. I love them. They should be commentators for Kona, and Robbie should over come his fear of flying and come to Australia.

This title got my attention because the phrase “remember your why” doesn’t carry as much meaning for me. I am new to the sport, and basically turned to it bc I’m interested in good health, my kids mostly left the nest, but husband not yet retired. I needed a new hobby, and this has been great. I like the theme of the podcast being happy and healthy. There is so much more to life than triathlon but triathlon also helps a lot of times. Mike and Robbie understand real life and provide great insights that you can think about and apply while training or racing.
