Inspiring, informative, thought-provoking, and real!
I'm so glad I discovered this podcast. I actually look forward to journeys anywhere now as I feel like I'm being productive whilst on the road! Writing is something I've always been interested in but never committed to for a number of reasons. This podcast inspires me in so many ways - to write, to blog, to travel, to read, to look after myself, to be more ambitious, and make choices to shape my future (to name a few!) The conversation in all of the episodes I've listened to have resonated with me on some level, and it's opened my mind to new ideas/topics/viewpoints. It makes me want to be a better me whilst learning so much in the process. I feel as though I want to write down notes every episode - snippets of advice, especially to do with mental health, time-management, careers and just everyday life decisions. I would love to go back and listen to all the episodes again. There are some absolute gems across a wide range of industries and topics. I love that real life topics like money and not 'making it', plus struggles in different industries are covered. I’ve always been someone who is pretty nosy and likes having a glimpse into other people’s lives. This podcast allows you to do just that. What Emma says about this podcast being created because it’s something she wanted growing up is spot on. That’s exactly how it feels for me too. Every time I listen to an episode, I want to shout about it and discuss the topics with friends and family. Off the back of listening to this podcast, I now have an evergrowing reading list plus long list of new amazing people in the media (and elsewhere) I follow. I can’t rave about this podcast enough. Inspiring, informative, varied, current, thought-provoking, funny! Emma is a master at her craft. It’s great that Emma and her guests - all “successful” people, reveal their insecurities and doubts. Social media often paints a very dandy and “perfect” picture of everyone’s lives nowadays, so it’s great to listen to the reality of it all behind the screens (and scenes.) Nothing can be construed, as is often the case in the media, in a podcast. I love the reality of the chats, in the sense that it really feels like how a chat with your mate would go. This podcast made me an Emma Gannon fan girl. A must-listen for everyone!Read full review »

I absolutely LOVE this podcast, I’ve recently got into podcasts in general and I really love them but this is definitely one of my favourites! It’s inspiring without being shouty-feministy, with a wonderful theme of encouragement running throughout! I love it!

The common thread is these conversations is how the internet and social media have shaped lives. While Gannon has obviously done her research and is prepared, her strength as an "interviewer" lies in being a good listener. The dialogue feels natural and organic.Read full review »
