“I'm bummed, because I'm really interested in the subject matter from a historical and analytical perspective, but this show is all sensationalism and speculation delivered by bland, cable voice-over sounding hosts. The two-parter on the Manson murders might as well just be Helter Skelter as an audiobook. They also don't mind swaying from factual reality in order to achieve their sensationalist bent- they mention in the second part someone "surviving" being given an "almost lethal dose of LSD", when scientifically there is no such thing.
