Thrills of my month
Twice each month, a small blue dot announces the posting of a new Culture Gabfest, and my stomach swoops in anticipation. I try to await some ideal time to find a quiet room or placid place outdoors with a good drink and maybe a snack and sit down with my most cherished non-IRL friends, but I rarely make it five minutes before I hit 'play'. I cannot recommend the podcast highly enough. I suggest going online to the podcast's blog and catching up on shows past. To hear all of these conversations for the first time, a score in a row, at your leisure: this is an odyssey unique in time to our Internet age, and I envy you for it. On numerous occasions now they have spoiled the ending of a movie that was released in theaters no more than 2 weeks before the podcast.
