Joyless and tend to like to hear themselves talk.
The reviewers tend to overanalyze popcorn movies to the point that all the enjoyment is gone. Additionally they are pretty elitist and tend to think that anything popular is bad unless it is something they like personally. There is some good information there, but overall the personalities are rather grating after repeat exposure.

I look forward to this podcast every week. Usual format is to choose 3 current topics/events/people in "culture" (broadly defined, usually NY-based), do a little homework the night before, and chat about each topic for 10 minutes.
