“I know he can't help it, but the main moderator Stephen Metcalf has potentially the worst speaking voice ever. I can't stand listening to his creepy pronunciations and overuse of the word "sumptuous". I have been listening to the political gabfest since day one, and am excited about new podcasts with the same format, like Money Talks (which is great!). But, the Culture Gabfest is just awful. They automatically add it to the daily podcast, which is super disappointing. Not only is his voice horrible, but he comes across as a pretenious academic jerk. Go away, Stephen Metcalf.
