Pedantic, in the best way possible
I subscribed to this gabfest (and the political one) when I was giving a number of podcasts one shot to become part of my regular listening experience. This one stuck immediately. I love the arguments over pointlessness. Sometimes the attempts at devil's advocacy feel like a high school debate team, but it's still fun. I listen to this podcast as soon as it shows up on my ipod, and it's one of the last ones I would unsubscribe from.Read full review »

I know he can't help it, but the main moderator Stephen Metcalf has potentially the worst speaking voice ever. I can't stand listening to his creepy pronunciations and overuse of the word "sumptuous". I have been listening to the political gabfest since day one, and am excited...Read full review »
