Hope for balance!
Hi good to hear your intentions, both of you are very easy to listen to so a great start for a pod! Really hope for balance - challenging the evidence for low fat, high fat, low carb, low meat, high meat, SAD, vegan, high carb etc. Hope you’re willing to learn along the way as you’ve set out, after all health and obesity isn’t exactly improving with the current advice over last 3 decades? Hope you look at efficacy of reversing T2D and other chronic illnesses with Keto/IF as an example of where meds could be replaced or reduced? Hope you look at fasting pre-chemo as an example of how to weaken cancerous cells and strengthen the remainder to improve the results. If some of this falls into insufficient evidence, I hope your response is to call for well measured trials rather than dismissing if early signs are positive? Finally hope you don’t dismiss new diets because of the charlatans making products to profit from it? Looking forward to the series! Great guests would be Dr David Unwin, Ken Berry, Nina Teicholz, Dr Andreas Eenfeldt, Dr Joel Kahn would love to hear your challenges and their answers!

I feel like I'm learning a TON about the controversy surrounding nutrition and next to nothing about nutrition. I'll keep listening in case we get there!Read full review »
