It's the questions that matter
Throughout history, the greatest check to human knowledge has been that society has marked some questions as out of bounds. What is out of bounds changes with every generation. Galileo's quest to understand the universe is often cited, but he's just a famous face to put on something that every individual must confront. It's incumbent on every individual to act within moral boundaries. That shouldn't need to be said. But asking questions, even about the sacrosanct? That's everyone's moral duty. But, enough pomposity. I just think it's cool that someone is posing some pretty outre questions.Read full review »

Dan gives you a shot of concentrated history that really makes you want to read up and learn more. I mean, who knew I had been pronouncing Scythians (Skith-ee-ans) wrong for all these years?
