Good History for Ordinary Folks
This podcast presents history in terms accessible and interesting to the average person -- a very fine thing. Marred by occasionally flat-footed prose (the word "thing" crops up where more descriptive phrasing is possible) and I caught one mispronunciation: the Latin "milites" is rendered as "ME-lites" in the segment on the Battle of Hastings.Read full review »
