“I love history and as mentioned by other reviewers it can sometimes be difficult to find history podcasts that aren't a little, well er, dull. Enter.....Dan Snow. He starts off incredibly strongly teaming up with his, equally listenable to father,Peter Snow for a Waterloo special, but the quality never drops. The way he puts together episodes to give historical context to current events is wonderful.
Always relevant and always so infectiously enthusiastic and helps that he had a voice that's easy on the ears. Hell, he could read our local phone book and I'd probably still listen! The topics, in the wrong hands, could be dull as dish water but, Dan and his fantastic contributors really do bring colour and life to their subject.
