Did this REALLY win an award? If so the bar must be dreadfully low. Preachy, droning from one, while the stooge interjects a few expletives, perhaps to show he’s still awake.

Love the show. And love you guys. But I have a question.. Do all Canadians have the same sense of humor? I swear to God I have met 4 Canadians and y’all all say funny stuff and act like it’s not funny. Which makes whatever you just said even funnier. I’ve noticed you guys have this sense of humor...Read full review »

I LOVE this podcast. I started with the Brentwood Five but have now gone back to Season one Episode one to binge listen. I listen in the car, cleaning, puzzling. So glad I discovered this Dark Poutine.

Hosts are funny and informative with the great chemistry of best buds. I love learning about the dark side of my new home! Keep up the great work guys!

Although I do appreciate the podcast very much, there is too much time at the beginning of the episodes of idle chit chat. Having to skip ahead several minutes is frustrating.

Great way to pass the time, chortle quietly at jokes you shouldn’t laugh at, and learn a little more about our country, eh?

I had studied this case while in college for my BA in psyche. Fascinating. So glad you shared your experiences as well. My daughter was a sleep walker too. She peed in the waste basket at her Dad’s house when she was a little kid. She talked in her sleep a lot and would be upset when she woke up...Read full review »

Lolz at all the people complaining about the banter....Mike and Scott are bomb af 🙌🏻
Stepherland via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 03/05/20
The only thing I don’t like is that most of time the second guy is just for reactions. “OHH.... I couldn’t imagine how they feel” or something insulting... I don’t think there’s much of a point in having a person there for just reactions. I enjoy when they have people who know what they are...Read full review »

Love this podcast and love hearing stories from home here in NL which tend to get overlooked by most crime shows/podcasts! Love you guys! I really wanted to like this show, and I feel like I gave it every chance-I have listened to dozens of episodes, and I find the topics to be interesting and well-researched, but I just can’t get past Scott and his constant interjection of weird noises or pointless comments that only detract from...Read full review »

Regarding the last episode about PEI, it is in fact the most densely populated province,!

I like the topics as I am a Canadian and a true crime junkie. However, the host goes off track too much and the second guy offers absolutely nothing of value. Lose him

Really good back and forth when it comes to what the show is really about. Very rare they get off track when discussing topics. The story about the missing Fire Ranger from Hinton Alberta would be a great show to cover. Thank you for your show, Graham F Jr

This podcast is amazing! Mike and Scott bring humanity to their podcast. They bring us information about the dark side of our history but also bring their own twist to them with their reactions and truths. No, they’re not professionals, they’re better!!!

This podcast got me into other true crime podcasts. I love the way Scott and Mike discuss issues because it’s so funny and natural but not disrespectful in any way. It’s also great that they keep it (for the most part) Canadian. Keep on going guys!

The host does an AMAZING job at researching and telling the story. I personally can’t stand the second guy reacting as he takes away from the story and doesn’t offer any insight. Of course, we’re mad these things are happening we don’t have to hearit every few minutes.
