Confusing format, very campy, feels like an audiobook
Confusing and campy format. Episode 1 opens w/ the voices of the podcast creators but I don't know if they are the actual creators or actors pretending they're the creators and this is a docudrama. Then cuts to a realistic format listening in on two scientists, which was very interesting but only lasted for a minute. Then cuts to a weird Clue/Hunger Games campy soap opera - I wasn't sure if it was meant to be a satirical comedy or serious. This segment also suddenly had narration as if it was a full cast audio book and someone was reading all the non-dialogue lines. The narration makes no sense - I might as well be listening to an audiobook, not a podcast! It completely destroyed the realism. And I have no idea how we jumped from the scientists scene to the soap opera. I thought we were supposed to be seeing the last memory of the deceased, but if this were the case, we wouldn't hear a narrator describing the action! The whole Cyclops Project pitch and after-life concept intrigued me, but that's not really what the story is about. Definitely not the sci-fi thriller genre I was expecting.Read full review »

I listened to the first episode at work today through the No Sleep podcast and soon found myself staring off into space while listening. I was hooked. Very talented cast of voice actors and the script keeps you on the edge of your seat. Keep up the great work!

It's hard to pin down this series after only a couple of episodes but i am enjoying it so far. The first episode seemed to be darkly comic but the second one was much more chilling with no humour to see. The production values are very high and Lee Pace's narration is creepy and a great...Read full review »
