Sounded promising but not delivering so far...
I was so excited upon hearing this podcast was launching, with the backing of Shudder, support from No Sleep and Denis o'Hare and Ru Paul as voice actors, it's a horror podcast fans dream! I know I'm jumping the gun slightly only 3eps in, but so far it's been fairy textbook 'horror genre' script, eyerollingly cheesy production (what was that song about in episode 2?!) and the fact that each episode is bookended by annoying 'bros' is making it almost unlistenable. Darkestnight podcast reminds me of classic 80s horror and sci-fi films. It has all of the lonely atmosphere and the squishy-goodness of the best in the horror genre.
