As a co-founder of the Soni Autism Association, Nyima discusses her experience raising children with autism and advocating for special needs in her community. She shares her journey of accepting her children's diagnosis and fighting for their needs. Our discussion highlights the stigma surrounding special needs and the lack of support and understanding. Nyima emphasizes the importance of early intervention and the challenges parents face in accessing help. Despite the difficulties, she remains committed to raising awareness while stressing the importance of self-care and having a supportive circle. She shares her experience of dealing with depression and anxiety, the importance of getting help and the need to take one day at a time.
