I was so excited to tune in to the podcast “They don’t teach that in nursing school”. The first episode missed the mark INCREDIBLY. It involved a nurse practitioner, which is not a “nurse” in the way it was intended. True, she is a nurse, but being a nurse and a provider are completely different...Read full review »

Each episode I’ve listened to so far in season 5 had started and ended with “This podcast is intended for healthcare professionals only.” SO ARROGANT! Seasons 1-3 were excellent, educational and interesting. Season 4 was boring because it included only a few case studies. It strayed from being “a...Read full review »

I could be addicted to this it’s like a tv show I learned and remember so much. I remember things so much with the drama and the build up. I’ve been able to bring them up in the wards and everything

Interesting content, presented well. Unfortunately their tag line excludes all the other healthcare professionals that use their app and says it’s a “knowledge sharing app for doctors” which is pretty disappointing.

In love with this podcast! Can’t wait for more more! Another idea is to do a podcast or include stories in this podcast in the vain of the “Diagnosis” hard-to-solve medical studies that are featured in the NYT Magazine.

Very interesting to listen to when between point A & B and you want to fill the void that is radio (at least the stations where I live). The doctors give enough detail to hold the mind but not too much to wash out. I only wish it was longer (15-20 mins vs 10 mins)

I've been wanting a podcast of physician stories from their work that also doesn't "dumb down" the medical terminology/knowledge too much. It's awesome to see how quickly these doctors have to think on their feet and appreciate that they're willing to share these stories....Read full review »
