Missed opportunity with the nursing podcast

“I was so excited to tune in to the podcast “They don’t teach that in nursing school”. The first episode missed the mark INCREDIBLY. It involved a nurse practitioner, which is not a “nurse” in the way it was intended. True, she is a nurse, but being a nurse and a provider are completely different mind sets and dynamics. Thankfully, the rest of the episodes hit the mark. I especially loved the bullying episode because it involved how different nurses handled the situation.
The choice of host seemed odd. A brand new nurse to lead a nursing podcast? She seemed very professional, and I’m sure she’s a great person, but her voice was difficult to listen to. Hate to mention that, but voice is pretty important when it comes to picking someone you’re going to listen to.”
