Memories abound
Jeff's fears about confronting his parents were so familiar to me. I'm of his parents' generation; my children are at his stage of life yet I still remember the "fear" I felt when I told my mother "You can't act like that when you're in my house." and told my father that his treatment of us as children was wrong. It was deeply emotional and had untold benefits - for me and for the way I mothered my children - and I hope Jeff and Liz benefit from it with the same success. Well done! I loved the teacher model to get away from the wounded scared child.Read full review »

More reviews of Dear Therapists with Lori Gottlieb and Guy Winch
I am absolutely blown away by your fantastic insight on all 3 of your episodes. The first one truly resonated with me and I’ve listened to it several times. I can’t wait for more to come. Just listened to the one with Mike...he’s a lot.
