Memories abound
Jeff's fears about confronting his parents were so familiar to me. I'm of his parents' generation; my children are at his stage of life yet I still remember the "fear" I felt when I told my mother "You can't act like that when you're in my house." and told my father that his treatment of us as children was wrong. It was deeply emotional and had untold benefits - for me and for the way I mothered my children - and I hope Jeff and Liz benefit from it with the same success. Well done! I loved the teacher model to get away from the wounded scared child.Read full review »

More reviews of Dear Therapists with Lori Gottlieb and Guy Winch
All the episodes are really great. The human experience can be found with each episode. I really love the format of Lori and Guy listening to the story, offering advice, and following up a couple weeks later.
