One of my favorite podcasts. The hosts ask thoughtful questions and are so gentle and kind. There have been many great episodes that have hit me right where I am in my parenting and deconstruction/reconstruction journey.

I love hearing fellow deconstructing mamas share their journeys! It’s especially helpful as I deconstruct from Mormonism and try to navigate a new path with three young kiddos. I feel so seen. Deconstructing is hard work but also so freaking liberating, and I just find myself exhaling when I...Read full review »

I’m grateful for the message being shared on this podcast and the guests are wonderful. I don’t always share the same concerns discussed about certain aspects of church or gospel, but that’s what is so wonderful about these conversations. They’re so compassionate and recognize everyone’s journey...Read full review »

It’s so refreshing to listen to Lizz and Esther talk about all these issues I wanted to talk to my parents about growing up but it was basically forbidden, or at least strongly discouraged. Honestly, I don’t think my parents, who are now in their late 80s, knew what to do with my questions. They...Read full review »

I love this podcast. It’s comforting to know you’re not alone in the hard task of parenting when you’re faith is evolving and you don’t always know which steps to take. - mum of three.

Many of the people attempting to redefine the meaning of “deconstruction” are attempting to redefine the meaning of Christianity. Do not be deceived by them. —Samuel Sey

I love this podcast! It has been something I’ve been waiting for and can connect with on so many levels. As a post evangelical, mom of 2 littles, and reconstructing on the daily, I have found solace here. Thank you

Community is one of the things that people who are deconstructing express that they miss the most. That certainly was true for me. Tuning in to, “The Deconstructing Mamas” podcast for the first time instantaneously made me feel seen- and that, after years of flailing around wondering if I could...Read full review »

I am at the adult parenting season. Yet I am so much a work in progress “unraveling and reraveling” these first two episodes were like a suave for the soul, love that it will be a place to continue learning, and being encouraged. Also learning to hold space for the uncertain, the mystery. ...Read full review »

Good stuff, real, open. Just sharing life! And I’ll say, ‘Not just for mommas’.

I am so excited and grateful for this podcast! As a deconstructing middle aged mother of 8 and grandmother of 5 who has and is struggling through my own mental and physical health crisis(es) I need this in my life! Thank you for being vulnerable and being willing to put yourselves out there! I...Read full review »

There are so many words that you could use to describe this first episode of the first season of this podcast. I’ll stick to 3: honest, vulnerable, and compassionate. I love Lizz’s honesty and vulnerability when she shares her story. I’ve been blessed to hear it multiple times and each and every...Read full review »
