Great guests going into great details of the fascinating topic of (not only) nuclear energy. An absolute must if you are tired of black and white oversimplifications from mainstream content. You learn how old the molten salt idea actually is; under what circumstances EVs help fighting global...Read full review »

Ever wonder why a smart guy talks nuclear all day when renewables are the solution? He’s a nuclear industry shill. An oligarch puppet! Shame! Your kids will know you stalled the transition MF!

Dr. Chris Keefer, MD has scientific training and practical experience which supports a pragmatic orientation to our human challenges. I have been personally moved by evidence toward eco-modern perspectives, from an earlier deep ecological idealism. When the feces hit the fan, reality dissolves...Read full review »

I decided to listen to some earlier episodes and the clarity and and consistency of the podcasts is excellent from the off. There is no ‘handwringing’ and faux-solutions. The discussions are well thought through and although I might not agree with many things, every episode has given me pause...Read full review »

A self congratulatory podcast by the nuke for the nuke. Summary: nuke is great. All people who don’t agree with us are lost souls or heretics, and it’s better to order nuke at USD12/w than solar panels at USD0.18/w

Great podcasts that looks at the pros and cons of nuclear along with the alternative carbon based and rare earth metal based ‘renewable’ energy systems

I’m pro nuclear and I do like most of the episodes and I’ve learned a lot but there is a relentless doing down of solar and wind. For sure they have their problems but I work in sales and you don’t do down your opposition, you make what you have for sale shiny or it looks like you’ve something to...Read full review »

Some experts like Mark Nelson are first rate. Too often it swerves into political seething - we already know that liberals don’t allow much and conservatives don’t conserve much so don’t go there. I can get a vicarious sense of self-satisfaction anywhere. Also, this podcast does itself no...Read full review »

I don’t know how I bumped into this podcast, but I am glad I did. So well done, so well researched. This is a very good example of passionately, researching, and patiently, trying to understand a very complex topic and then making good on that knowledge to the benefit of others.

Before starting to listen to this podcast, I’d say I was leaning towards being pro-nuclear. Now having listened to about 40 shows, I’d put my house on it. I’m all in and I wish the policy makers would take a listen and enlighten themselves too

Clears the air when fogged up with Alternative Energy pipe dreams propped up by Corporate Media sound bites sized just right for 7th graders. You will not ‘get’ the significance of natrium nuclear reactors (as I did not) but your horizons will never be the same.

This is my favorite podcast among the pantheon of climate podcasts. I came because Dr. Keefer is pro-nuclear, and he does a great job talking about both the technical aspects and the political side. And not just from America. I highly recommend this podcast.

I subscribe to a dozen or so podcasts and listen to many others. This is my favorite podcast. Dr. Keefer asks good questions, does not interrupt his guests, and covers energy from a lightly technical, economic, and policy implication perspective. I learn something from every episode.

Decouple has been my introduction to understanding the conversation around nuclear energy and a range of other innovations. I’ve appreciated the fine balance is strikes between offering a deep exploration of topics while not letting listeners get lost in the weeds.

As someone new to the nuclear power industry, this podcast has given me me the perspective I needed to get up to speed.
