“I have become immune to the ranting of food critics and food experts and James beard finalist in the DC metro area. This is the place where I have seen over the last 30 years food culture has gone to die and this podcast is the dead on arrival still born grand child of The DMV.
Never have a seen a city where there is literally nothing good to eat. It’s is either overpriced, under-cooked, out of a bad from jetro or HMart or Costco.
I have need subject to so much bad cooking by pretentious chefs served by untrained wait staff, who have professional level of children.
It takes forever to get a meal sever and what is served is crap.
I gave up going out to eat.
Jose Andres while a great person has inundated the city with lame restaurants that serve small expensive lacking in flavor food. I did not know it was possible to spend $100 dollars on tapas that would be thrown out in Spain. Spending all this money for three ramekins burnt over cooked food.
Pizza is usually served under glass with flies.
The only place that has any merit is HomeSlyce the rest of this city food industry is not worth the effort or money”
