I like this a lot with a few concerns
Let me preface by saying I agree with, and appreciate, most of the material on this podcast. My concern really comes with the emphasis of exclusion. I just finished listening to the episode regarding the alleviation of joint pain. While they did touch on what you could take to alleviate it, it get like there was more concentration on excluding pastas and gluten. Now, they did mention ‘processed’ carbs should be excluded, but why wasn’t there more emphasis on choosing those whole wheats or protein based pastas? Not everyone has a gluten intolerance, and complex carbs are hugely beneficial for those who aren’t sensitive to gluten. I’ve never dealt with joint pain, but being in my mid thirties, I’m looking for prevention. I guess I just wish that the topic was broached without such an emphasis on exclusion. It’s the recipe for an eating disorder. Overall I enjoy this podcast and will keep listening. They know what they’re talking about. But just be aware of some of the subject matter.
