“I'm giving five stars because I do think Epps and Baude put on a good show, and when they discuss actual law it's the best law podcast around. But it's become impossible to listen to given Epps clearly disdainful, bad faith criticisms of the conservatives on the court. Part of the reason why it's so annoying is that Baude is way too nice to really push back - so you'll have twenty minutes of fruitless, totally unenlightening discussion. The most recent episode on Alito is a perfect example - consists of 45 minutes of Epps saying, in effect, isn't Alito a whiny little gremlin? With Baude replying, Well, actually, maybe. But isn't it also the case that if you read his statement carefully, he's actually not a whiny gremlin, although he could certainly be little?
