I just listened to this episode. I kept thinking of revisionist history podcast by Malcolm Gladwell, then came the parting words that golf “is a good walk spoiled”. Those are the exact words by Gladwell. In any case all I can say is down with golf courses. There are many similarities between South Africa and America regarding the inequalities along race lines. These golf courses are an example of this inequality. I am sure there are more productive ways of using the land.
