This was the first Archers podcast I listened to and I used to love it. But this days it is a complete yawn to listen to. Everything is far too serious. The callers in are dull. Levels are painful for my ears at times. I am unsubscribing as I find myself wading through it each week hoping it will...Read full review »

You will become glued to it after you join the DTD family and join us in the conversation, speculation and occasional ducking from Jill’s flinging of flapjacks. Come join us!!

I have listened to The Archers for 20 years but am a very new listener to the podcast. I cannot recommend it highly enough for all Archers fans. Great content, knowledgable presenters and often very funny contributions from presenters and listeners. A great place to catch up on all the events...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to the archers since the 80s and to this podcast just a few months but it is my new favourite Sunday omnibus. So enjoyable to hear the intelligent and witty thoughts and predictions from other listeners, beautifully curated by Stephen and Jacqueline. I have been surprised to...Read full review »

Foucault would be proud of this podcast, that on the surface is a witty and whimsical discussion on the Radio 4 show ‘The Archers’ but delve deeper you get a neo structuralist analysis of rural life. The sign and signifier within Tweet of the Week is particularly insightful, superficially an...Read full review »

I give five stars after every episode but it seems the written word counts for more in the ratings algorithm. So, here goes. Sunday morning coffee is that much more enjoyable while listening to this breakdown of “The Archers” week. You are very much appreciated. Thank you!

I discovered The Archers two years ago. Frustratingly, I knew no other fans to enthuse with or share opinions with about on the goings on in Ambridge until I discovered DumTeeDum. This excellent weekly podcast global community never fails to inform, entertain and provide me with fresh insights...Read full review »

This is a wonderful weekly podcast aimed at the discerning Archers listener. The hosts do a fantastic job and I for one always look forward to my weekly helping of Dum TeeDum. Keep up the good work. 👍🏻 Steven from Glasgow.

I sent a review some months ago; if a six star review was an option,Dumteedum would be awarded it. I have recently joined the Facebook group and look forward to reading and contributing regularly. Keep up the good work and thanks for making me laugh and think! Eleanor

If listening to The Archers is as much part of your daily routine as flossing between your crowns and getting enough fibre then this podcast is for you. The hosts and regular contributors ( caller-in-erers) have thousands of years-worth of devoted listening between them and the result is riveting...Read full review »

I count the days down till Sunday when DumTeeDum is available. To put it succinctly, Steve is my boyfriend, and Jacalene is who I want to be when I grow up! Their knowledge of The Archers is uncanny. And as a fellow American, shout out to Tracy in California and Witherspoon with Angus haggis! 🇺🇸💕

I love listening to DumteeDum alongside the archers. The questions and answers cover so many different aspects of Ambridge life and provide me as a relatively new listener with details and history of the The Archers which I really enjoy.

… to this show, which is a perfect companion to the main event - the wonderful Archers. I’ve only recently joined the ranks of Archers’ listeners so I relish the insights and background that Dumteedum provides. Thank you! (From the Outer Hebrides, Scotland) or as we say in Gaelic - Tapadh Leibh!

I just wish I’d found this podcast sooner instead of trawling the internet looking for discussion and analysis of the Archers. I also love the history segments, filling in the background for those who haven’t been listening to the full 20,000 episodes

Listening to this podcast helps my Mondays enormously. I tune in from my desk, and enjoy the musings, mutterings and venting of other Archers fans. V well done all: presenters, producers and contributors, thank you.

I usually avoid anything that calls itself “The people’s…”, but DumTeeDum is different. The emphasis on caller-inerers views & predictions, and the round up of social media chat is perfect. It’s great to have access to a long-form discussion series about a well done, long term British Radio show, not commonly listened to in the USA. I’ve been listening to this podcast for about a year and it’s become my tradition to listen to the Archers omnibus and then this podcast. As a solitary listener of The Archers, it truly is comforting to hear members of the Dum Tee Dum community talk out how they lived the week in Ambridge. Love Roifield and Jacqueline’s commentary; it’s good to know that Ambridge really does exist. ❤️

I’ve only just started listening to the Archers - I got fed up with listening to the same 1980s music on the drive to work so started on podcasts. I’ve been listening to this Archers-themed podcast for many years, through some changes of presenters, but they’ve all been lovely. There is a clear sense of community and caring around what would otherwise be without it, a boring 50s+ rural farming, audio drama. Because Royfield makes the party and all the party favors, I may even drop listening to The Archers altogether, and only listen to this program.
