Wow how things have changed.. this is no longer as fun as it used to be.. Kerry doesn’t even seem to know the plot line, sounds stilted and staged.. and had to turn it off half way through ..

The DumTeeDum podcast is superb and always makes me giggle. It’s lovely hearing Roifield, Keri, Peter et al talking about the radio docudrama, The Archers. It’s always good to hear other listeners contribute too. Thank you all :)

I really can't praise it enough. What a joy those people are who make this - everything about Dumteedum delights me!Read full review »

How can a podcast become *less* professional, less well-edited and less well put together over the years rather than vice versa? Partly because the Archers is very bad at moment, partly because there’s no practice about it, but it really needs an editorial shake up. Perhaps go fortnightly to give...Read full review »

Listened to what was a great podcast 5* for 18months, really sorry to say it’s no longer what it was. Don’t think it’s due to the Archers monologues as most of what made this great was the periphery stuff. Just feels like the heart and warmth has gone. The team are doing a good job but somewhere...Read full review »

What’s not to love about a podcast that covers The Archers, , safari parks and finishes off with the Lion King soundtrack - genius

A must for all The Archers fans. A wonderful community and network of people who have come together in their love for The Archers and their listeners. Roifield is witty, Lucy even wittier (she recently left the podcast) and all the contributors to this podcast are truly amazing and caring !
Cherryblossom66 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 08/15/20
Sorry Roifield but the show has lost a lot of its shine since Lucy left. You don’t seem quite as engaged as you were and the repartee just isn’t there. However, I do like your new male host: very smart and witty. More of him please.

It is so nice to listen to this podcast as it’s all to do with the archers. It is well put together and I look forward to it arriving every week. Well done guys x

Have you ever wanted a deeper understanding of the Archers? From new listeners to old hands this is the podcast for you! Great analysis coupled with gentle humor.

This is the perfect companion pod to The Archers themselves, providing a gently mocking but respectful debrief to the week in Ambridge.

Despite best efforts of all concerned, this is not the podcast it used to be ☹️

Been listening to TA for nearly 5 decades (gulp!). Love this podcast. Thanks everyone for great stuff. I am not yet a caller innerer.

I started listening to the Archers ironically because I thought it was terrible, but then I gradually got hooked. The fact that nothing much happens is really comforting. The only thing I was missing was someone to discuss it with. Very pleased I discovered this podcast – it really adds to the...Read full review »

The chemistry between Jacqui and Roifield made this one is the best episode ever.

As an Archers fan I can’t wait to hear Lucy’s take on the week and the banter between Lucy and Roifield. Unlike the last commenter, I’m happy for them to go on as long as they like. In the current lockdown we all need to escape to another world where there is no Coronavirus -yet!

I look forward to it every week. The presenters love the Archers but often have a laugh at its expense when something ludicrous has happened. They also criticise any poor writing or bad acting. The presenters and listeners who call in have interesting and often hilarious discussions about the...Read full review »

Sorry but this is becoming an overlong vehicle for the presenter's opinions and prejudices. He is always right and patronises anyone who disagrees. My tip, catch 'Lucy's Week in Ambridge' on YouTube!Read full review »

If you love or even just like The Archers, you must listen. Hosts Roifield and Lucy are clever, funny, articulate and most importantly irreverent but honest about Ambridge and its residents. As are all the callers to the show. It has been going for 6 years. Have listened from Ep 1 and the...Read full review »

I started listening to The Archers just over five years ago, which makes me a Fairbrother. About a year later, I found DumTeeDum on Twitter. The hosts are witty and interesting. It’s a bit like having a long tea break with other fans capped off by a few G&Ts.

Absolutely loved this. V envious that Lucy actually got to visit Ambridge in all its Hammer Horror glory.

Thank you so much Lucy and Roifield! I love this podcast so much. I look forward to it every week, and I even listen to old episodes just for fun. Someday I hope I can go to a DumTeeDum meetup! Listening from New Brunswick Canada

Nearly as good as the actual Archers. Great for dog walks or sitting in the sun with a cold drink

My favourite day of the week is when this podcast gets sent to my phone. I get my wellies on, my dogs ready and enjoy a few blissful hours of walking whilst listening to the Archers Omnibus swiftly followed by DumTeeDum. Thank you all, keep up the good work x

What a brilliant team. They should be writing the script, and the nocturnal y writers should have a year off. Keep up the great work. Murdoch

I never miss this podcast - essential listening for any archers fan, even when the actual drama is annoying you. Lots of insight into storylines and the history of the program. Keep up the good work.

Better than the real thing, especially the sweary bits. Lucy provides the sparkly bathroom tiles but they are useless without the grout that is Roifield. Big up Robart and Anglea as splendid stand ins. The best part is still the callerinerers though....

On first listen couldn’t make out how this was working. Realised after determined listen (am Archers listenerer) what it’s formula was about . Love you Roifield and Lucy! Makes having listened to The Archers since 1980s all worthwhile.

Roifield and Lucy and all the lovely people from the dumteedum world and sometimes they discuss the Archers. Roifield even finally got a plot prediction right. Listen to it.

Roifield and Lucy chat about The Archers. A gentle, good natured, fun look at The Archers and life. Lucy’s monologue where she summarises that week’s storyline is brilliant and the whole show has the feel of chatting about a show you love, over a coffee with friends. A very welcoming community....Read full review »

Dum tee Dum is well passed its 300th weekly. I was fortunate to find it on episode 3. If you listen to the archers you’ll love this podcast. Lucy, Roifield and the gang comment and banter about the week in Ambridge. They are brilliantly entertaining and sometimes thought provoking. You’ll forget you’re in social isolation when you’ve got the dumteedum family in your home.

Great podcast, that is centred around The Archers. But....., provides enjoyment and entertainment for Archers and non-Archers fans alike. If you listen to the Archers, a must listen. If you don't, worth a listen anyway. Well Done Roifield and co. keep up the good work!!Read full review »
