As someone who works in the field, I’m picky about my sport psych podcasts—this one is my favorite! Wonderful guests, important topics, and a mix of BOTH research and practice makes it a win for me. Applicable to those in the field, trainees, and people interested in sport psych (and those...Read full review »

Awesome podcast. Other podcasts out there tend to produce good stuff but don’t share their flaws. I think they always pretend to be perfect, which this podcast doesn’t. There’s something human in this podcast when I listen it, which is why I think it’s the best!

A valuable listen for those in the field and the layperson. Light yet nuanced approach throughout. No signs of pseudoscience or psychobabble. Great work. Relevant topics and good podcast editing. Will only listen to next series however if Hugh adopts a more relaxed and informal approach 😂😂

I’ve heard Hugh Gilmore on other podcasts. So fascinating for a coach.

Great listen exploring the role of psych and the sports psychologist in Sport teams and environments. Asking some excellent and insightful questions and covered in a way that doesn’t require a degree to understand it! A must listen for anyone involved in sport!

Very (very) rarely does a non-hoops podcast make it into my rotation. @EPMPodcast is one. It’s an excellent, thought provoking sports psych pod. Not loaded with jargon - so even someone like me can understand it, but I do have to listen to at 1x speed!

Really enjoying this series even though I’m not particularly into sport, but find the psychology fascinating. Plenty of interesting things to take into other areas of life. Also helping me on my painful runs home from work! Thoroughly recommend.
