I love Elsie's podclass!!
I am very honored to say that I am a student of Elsie's.  I took my first class with her over 2 years ago (on my birthday!) and have continued to practice with her every since.  There is no one like Elsie.  Her spirit and enthusiasm - for yoga, for life, for people - shines like a light both on and off the mat.  It is because of teachers like Elsie that I follow the path of yoga.   I recently decided to move overseas with my boyfriend and have been filled with so much sadness over leaving my yoga teachers.  Though I know that I carry them with me in my practice... (and non-attachment is the basis of this whole thing, right!?)... I have been so reluctant to let go of practicing with my favorite yoga teachers.  AND THEN I discovered Elsie's podcast!! ( I'm JUST entering 2004 with this whole technology thing, and until recently "podcast", "mothership" and "cyborg" all seemed belong in the same sentence.)  I couldn't even believe it!   Taking one of Elsie's podcast classes is almost exactly like taking one of her studio classes....she is so specific and clear with her instruction and her intention, that you hardly notice you aren't in a class.   There are classes for all levels and they are taught in the same thorough and playful manner that makes her studio classes so popular.  You work hard and let go simultaneously in Elsie's classes, which is what makes them feel so good. The most amazing thing is that her bright and generous spirit actually comes across over through computer....   It's so cool.   For even the most dedicated yogi, sometimes it's impossible to get to a yoga class.  Family, money, work, schedule, location, travel, MOVING TO ANOTHER COUNTRY!!....it happens.  With Elsie's podcasts you have a terrific yoga class any time, on your schedule - with such a wonderful and inspiring teacher...for FREE!  I can not recommend this podcast highly enough.... Read full review »

More reviews of Elsie's Yoga Class
Elise has a nice light style - sometimes she talks a bit too much during practice, but this is a problem many instructors have. That being said, her instructions are very good and she is clearly an honest and pure person. Thanks Elsie.

I think some people are grapples. Mutant Grape and Apple Hybrids that can't reproduce. And some people are Pommagrantes. Light and Potent, Complex and Nutritious to be savoured bit by bit. Elsie gives you the seeds to grow authentically through her gifts of love and authenticity. The asana...Read full review »
