The information provided is fantastic for medical/emergency providers. I enjoy the briefness of each episode. Will continue listening!

There is likely a lot of good vocabulary that would be useful in medicine, but these terms are not given much context. One would have to be a medical student or physician to get a considerable amount of value out of this. For pre-meds like myself, this would mostly give insight into what medical...Read full review »

I got to listen to the episode about fentanyl because I’ve been hearing more about it in the news. I learned that there is a lot more money in the fentanyl business compared to the heroine industry. People are more willing to take pills because of the psychological aspects, they’re more likely to...Read full review »

I really like just how much they can fit into a 3 min time slot. They cover case studies, alternative treatments, new finding, etc in such a small window. It’s also not rushed! All the information is presented in a slow enough pace that it can still be absorbed. I love this podcast.

I listened to Podcast 748: Botulism. I have never actually listened to a podcast so this was a nice one to listen to one as interesting and educational as this one for my first one. I actually didn’t know you could get Botulism from honey or whale blubber, but this makes sense because I've...Read full review »

I listened to the 1/11/22 episode on elderly head trauma and found it interesting that follow up appointments aren’t that common. I volunteered as an elder companion at a retirement home so falls are pretty frequent and we were required to alert nurses immediately instead of trying to help the...Read full review »

I am loving your podcast! Short, succinct pearls of wisdom that help my practice in the ER, but don’t take a lot of time to listen to. Thanks for keeping your podcasts short and to the point. I’ve learned a lot and am going through your older ones now.

The podcast is extremely good in relaying the latest medical treatments. It is evidenced based and they also consider limitations and biases of studies. It is also to the point. I highly recommend it!

I like the latest direction of podcasts, some context and authenticity of a human behind the mic would be nice. I don’t mind the facts but how about the host take a breath and be human. The robot like spitting out of details of M&M on the COVID is nessary if there is some supporting context....Read full review »

You have to site your work on these podcast, I can’t make an argument for the use if I don’t even know who is speaking or where all these studies are coming from. “Some busy hospital in New York”

This is the only podcast that I have an issue with the sound. I am getting the main person talking out of the left speaker only. It is quite annoying to the point that I stop listening. This is unfortunate because i do enjoy the topics .
