Hi listeners! As we move into perimenopause, progesterone is the first of the two ovarian hormones to start to shift. Changes in oestrogen come a little bit later. As progesterone starts to decline anywhere from mid-late 30s or early 40s, you might notice the consequences of this by way of sleep troubles, anxiety, feeling less resilient, changes to cognition, new or worse PMS, heavy periods, and shorter cycles.
