Started with season 5 Anna and binged the season…great pod cast. Just some advice, as the episodes went on on season 5 I could tell Anna and the host were drinking as by episode 7, Anna was clearly slurring her words and sounded “tipsy”. Speech got slower and slurred. Got a little frustrating as...Read full review »

I listened to the most recent season then decided to go back to season 1. Hearing all the back and forth it sounds like both of them (host and ex husband) were addicted to drama. There is something about it that even though I’m annoyed I can’t stop listening so they are doing something right.

With more competent hosts this show could be good but as it is the episodes are rambling and repetitive. The first episode is terrible and if you want to listen to the show I’d recommend skipping it entirely. The initial story doesn’t really live up to billing either. Both hosts come across as...Read full review »

These stories hit so hard. I’m listening to the Double Trouble season, and I’m so sorry that this young woman didn’t get support from her husband during the birth of their daughter. I experienced the same situation, and the sad truth of it is that he didn’t love her anymore. It’s a heart breaking...Read full review »

Why are these episodes out of order??? Stories are repeated too many times. Too much laughing and immaturity.

Almost done with season 1. The editing is horrendous and the hosts are borderline insufferable, but I CANNOT stop listening. Five stars.

The show is reminiscent of Something Was Wrong but a bit slower. It’s good but the background music forces me to turn it off sometimes. ENOUGH WITH THE MUSIC PLEASE. love you gals.

I love the show so much. I cried the whole time, because I thought I was the only one! I am so appreciative for the show. We have strengthen numbers and we will conquer!

The stories are so addicting!! I listened to 13 episodes in one sitting! All the stories shared by all the women are heartbreaking and captivating. But the ads… awfully placed- often mid-sentence of someone. And the volume of the sponsors is much louder than the podcast itself.

I really like this podcast and I'm so sorry that you both had to suffer because of a person with borderline personality disorder. Even so, I would like you to be more responsible when talking about this disorder because unfortunately I feel that you could cast a stigma and do not really...Read full review »

How about slapping sense into Anna? She clearly has massive issues making proper decisions in life. Ted is not your problem. You are your problem. Humorously slamming Ted over and over as if you’re so clever and an authority on his behavior is missing the point. YOU have issues that YOU need to...Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast. But one piece of advice is some of these women aren’t great interviewees I.e. Zorrah. Way to long winded about irrelevant stuff and super boring. you just want to scream get on with it! This pod would be much better is hosts narrated stories and just added small...Read full review »

You guys are great, but Bruce refers to MAGA as hateful and goes on and on about Trump’s lawsuits. He was wrong about everything he said. And if you’re a nice person, you don’t insult half the country flat out without knowing them. Nor do you sit in silence and let someone else do that. No matter...Read full review »

Liked the first season but couldn’t get through the hosts uncontrollable laughter (or as one of the hosts put it, she “got the giggles”) in the first episode of season 5. They were so clueless they didn’t realize the victim was not laughing with them, but trying to bear her soul while the hosts...Read full review »

My heroes. 💪🏻✨🐅 I didn’t enjoy listening to Juliette’s story. She comes across as a “mean girl”. Unlikable, rude, arrogant and never at fault. She could benefit from some self reflection and self awareness. Thank goodness she was only two episodes. 🙄 Big “Ick” energy.

Athena & Amber, you need to have this produced as a mini-series! Just when you think it couldn’t get worse and “Ben” could not come up with a bigger lie, he tops himself, once again!! The first season is mind boggling. Tried to feel for the protagonists as she tells us her child has a biological dad, then a dad that was her step dad and vanished, then the man who lied and manipulated her but she let back in, and an alcoholic man she’s dated…. I know how hard it is to leave a relationship with a narcissist. Been there, done that, and it took me many times to actually leave. I cannot imagine not meeting Amber and Athena almost one year ago!!! It seems as if it’s been 10 years we have been through so much. Not only have they treated me with love and kindness but a true sisterhood bond that cannot be broken. Please listen and share their stories. Love you girls.

This was an amazing listen. I binge listened the the first 2 seasons. Having escaped a coercively controlled marriage in my early 20’s I related to and recognised a lot of the behaviours.
