A real review
The positive of this podcast is that the issues Summer Innanen covers are all very important and often difficult for someone who is struggling with food issues. She is very casual, friendly and inviting in her delivery. The only negative I might mention is that there's a slight "valley-girl-iness" in her speech. I personally find it charming and adorable. If you are someone who expects your podcasters to sound like a professional radio host, you might find it off-putting. In my experience, when it comes to podcasts, it's always a mixed bag, some hosts, guests and podcasters sound good, others... not so much. To me, it's all about the message, the information delivered on the podcast. Is it useful, helpful, interesting? If yes, then the delivery is not that big of a deal. Of course, if someone voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard, I might not follow the podcast for long, or as diligently as I might otherwise. In case of Summer, her voice is pleasant, her information is useful, helpful and interesting. Her valley-girl-y delivery is charming. So my verdict - give it a try if you're struggling with food issues. You might find it life-changing.Read full review »

Finally, someone who speaks the crazy thoughts I have in my head. I thought I was the only one who felt crazy around food. All Summer’s podcast are great, HOWEVER the one “Stop Fighting Food” couldn’t be more spot on. Highly recommended.
