“I am a big film buff and hav tried many of the film-related podcasts out there including Ebert and Roeper, Mastercritic, and NPR Movies. This is by far my favorite podcast in existence, film-related or not. I love the interaction of the hosts and the very insightful comments that they have to share. I particularly like it that they are not self-important like so many other movie critics. These are guys that you want to go to the movies with and grab a beer with afterwards. Beyond just a bunch of sound byte movie reviews, they take time to really examine the films that they are discussing. They also have great ongoing features like top 5 lists (Top 5 Cheating Heart Films or Top 5 Movie Villians, for example) and Massacre Theater, where they recite lines from films and audience members are invited to email in the name of the film to win a free DVD. Listening to this podcast has prompted me to rent several DVDs that I have subsequently loved. If you love movies, you owe it to youself to give these guys a listen.
