Be more careful in managing your finances. Look at what it looks like when you start investing, and when you start putting that money aside, you start to get a feel for it. When you can start to understand how much you need to put aside to retire to have a better lifestyle, you then start to adjust how you're spending and you start to prioritize your money monthly on a different basis.
