Chasing Arthur via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/21/24
The script just isn’t believable. There’s an 11 year old missing FROM SCHOOL and the principal won’t call a teacher who left the building? And dad finds out daughter is in video footage with a mysterious man right after she goes missing and says he needs a few more hours sleep. I can’t. Can’t...Read full review »

I thought it was the mother or the principal but the aunt 🧐😮. The father is a good man he even forgave her I’m not that grown yet lol

Found this from a Reddit post and really enjoyed the story and the way the sound effects made me feel like I was right in the room! Highly recommend!!

It’s a great premise, but the production is terrible! The sound quality is so bad. The acting is poor. Did a group of friends get together on their lunch break and read into their iPhones on a Zoom call?

Get out your headphones, this channel has amazing production value. You’ll want to listen closely because Sisan has a deep attention to the small details and it shows in the sound quality, writing, and acting.

I barely got through this but I hung in to the end the dad was not very convincing and the mom was even worse than there’s the aunt who wasn’t even concerned about the principal to the point she loses proof he is a pervert but she wants to be a parent ridiculous.
Not convincing. via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/05/24
There’s a lot of twists but how can someone call the police if they’re unconscious? And what kind of person cuts off trash can lids!?Also one more thing why aren’t the parents more concerned they literally like don’t care like what!!?
jazziebabe602 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/03/24
I am trying to keep listening but the tone of these parents are KILLING ME!!!! I am only 3 /4 episodes in and it’s annoying me so much. This MOM is wack!!!! Is there even a child I don’t even have children but the tone of this I am sure would be much more urgent I’m a keep listening but I am not...Read full review »

Not good listening at all. Too many gaps. Started off with a missing child and the parents don’t seem too concerned. Then it turns into an unbelievable detective story. Won’t finish this. Too much bad acting

Creative, kept me interested. Great voices. Felt like I was watching a movie with my ears. Great production, keep up the great work.

This show makes no sense, it almost seems like it’s a summary of something else, like a cliffs notes version of a crime drama. The reactions of the characters when discovering their young daughter/niece is missing is to…. Joke around while canvassing the neighbourhood? The main characters acting...Read full review »

I was about to give up when I realized the first episode was scripted but decided to listen anyway and so glad I did! Very well written and suspenseful! Those are might type of shows/podcast!

Love the story, very captivating with lots of twists to keep you interested. I only wish the episodes lasted longer! Highly recommend.

The main character, the dad, seems to take his daughter disappearance not that hard. Nobody is going to believe he is getting good night sleep which he seems to do in episode 2 or 3. I believe the voice actor is main person making this podcast. He needs to replace himself.
18th floor yellow door via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/15/24
I agree the dad’s reactions/ actions are very nonchalant. I feel the actors were good, score quality was great. No one would EVER forgive a sibling for a betrayal of that magnitude.
Aovillarez via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/15/24
Everyone’s reaction, especially the father’s, to a missing child is ridiculous and totally unrealistic. Father discovers child’s principal had security footage erased and that multiple parents / students / teachers have written letters of complaint about the principal’s behavior and the father...Read full review »

If I have to be honest, this had to have been written by someone who is not a parent. The sheer lack of panic and the decision making is wild. The conversations are too calm, no sense of panic. The choices made were so unlike anyone with children would make. But the sound design, production and...Read full review »

Great premise and nice idea and execution. I just couldn’t get past the unrealistic responses, gaping holes in the story, the main character seems emotionally distant and not that bright. Sadly season 2 hasn’t started off much better. As a father of a young daughter I can tell you that sleep...Read full review »

Very good storyline and compelling. The voice actors are amazing. From the first episode in season one to the last you are on for a nice ride. A very good surprise ending to season one and I can wait for season two.

The sound design is pretty well done ,but the actions, reactions and general way the characters behave is ridiculously unrealistic especially the father. The short episodes make it a nice touch so you can listen to a story even if you don’t have much time. I’ve gotten to episode 3 hoping that the...Read full review »

Hopeful for a season 2 in hopes that will clear up some of the holes of season 1. So many of the characters actions and reactions are unrealistic and left unexplained. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t listened yet but I’m hoping for less twists and turns that go nowhere in season 2...Read full review »

Epic score and sound design all the way through. It’s a good story. The characters could use more development. I think that would have made the the climax and end more gratifying.

High quality story telling….The Nigerian accent of the father was a nice and authentic touch.

I heard about this podcast on Reddit. The episodes are short and easy to digest which is good because I was stressed out about a little girl going missing. There are cliffhangers and twists so you want to get to the next episode. I enjoyed the sound design and music. The voice actor for the dad...Read full review »
