Life changing
I discovered this podcast about 8 years ago when I was a vegetarian. As I listened veganism became such an obvious progression. The message wasn’t heavy, just a clear description of the dairy and egg industry which made the progression natural. Colleen recognises the demands that moving to veganisn makes and I love her mantra “ don’t do nothing because you can’t do everything “ She equips you with ways of presenting your view in a constructive way , without aggression, always bearing in mind that your aim is to encourage people to think about animals. I love the way that she challenges “the vegan police”who seem set on promoting a negative view of veganism, reminding us of the end goal of saving the lives of the animals. Listen to the podcasts, buy her books and try to be the best you can as “an imperfect vegan in an imperfect world”

Colleen encourages me, and her shows have encouraged me to try: bananas in vegan baking, to use less meat-substitutes as protein...Read full review »
