Talk about talking for England
Don't have Darren Lewis on, if you wish to have a balanced discussion. He seems to go on and on and on. Most of what he says, seems to be with hindsight. To be fair, most of these scribes, do the same thing. One minute, they are praising a player, or a boss, or a team. Then, when things go down, they have all sorts of theories on why this particular problem has surfaced. The Manchester Utd problem with getting a decent boss is a case in point. Solskaar was never a good replacement. He was short-term, and they should have thanked him for this efforts in stabilising the ship, but they never should have given him a long-term contract. The club is too big for him. He doesn't have the experience. The writers praised him initially, but as usual are jumping on the band-wagon now that results are poor. The presenting in this podcast is wooden at best. It is aptly named the football writers podcast both Mike Calvin and Darren Lewis should stick to writing as they lack any charisma on this podcast.
