Beavis and butthead of running

Hey fellas, love the pod. Thanks for the shout-out last week for my 100km run around the track. I can confirm, I ran 250 laps on track mode and did not stop my watch when I hit 100km on the GPS haha. I’ve pulled up surprisingly well from it and I look forward to racing Brett at Fukuoka if he is...Read full review »

Robbo's weeks are ok to listen to, race recaps are great. But JTW is dire. Switch him out and it would improve. Brett and Jack? Brett and the girls?Read full review »

These 2 girls are great - super informative insight into their racing & training seasons- have enjoyed it BUT get sick of listening to the convo when they cannot go 3 words without using the word ‘like’ - if they could just get like one sentence out without like saying like, like all the time...Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast. My favourite episode, amongst many, was the one with my man Simon Holt.

Just a copy of Inside Running Podcast and listening to 2 people doing very similar training soon gets boring.
Andy4shirley via Apple Podcasts · Netherlands · 08/15/23
Enjoy listening to these 2 runners from Aus, one is great and the other is on his way. They give out some great advice and tell some stories. 👍👍

FTK is insightful, unpretentious and often hilarious. If you have any interest in running or gravel bikes you will find this podcast valuable and interesting, and well worth your time. One of my absolute favourite podcasts. Brett Robinson is a superstar, professional athlete, olympian, marathon...Read full review »

It’s such a shame, would love to listen every week to Brett Robinson but Joel Tobin White is so damn un likeable, annoying, rude, talks over people constantly and doesn’t really have any great pedigree as a runner to take seriously. Should replace the plank with Jack

I had never been injured until I started listening to these two clowns religiously, I am now riding a gravel bike and won’t be able to run for months thanks to Old Joel 5 Stars I miss you already

More fun than a gravel bike
JLPYArra via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 12/08/22
I have absolutely no idea who Dr. Duff Kudos is, but these two gravel bike riders have plenty to say about him. I think Jett and Broel have a fair bit in common. I’ll keep listening, begrudgingly.

I was never really that great at maths when i was in high school , lucky for me running isn’t a very math heavy sport which has recently played into the hands of the FTK boys especially Mr 2:07.51…. if it weren’t for their “just having a good old time” voices , i don’t think i’d be very...Read full review »

Love hearing about Brett’s afternoon runs which he does in the afternoon as well Joel reliving his triathlon days and I am not sure why he doesn’t mention it more. Every week I wonder, “Will Joel break 100km for the week?” and “Will Brett finally explain properly where Yarra Flats are?” and...Read full review »

A deeply insightful look at running at the elite level, delivered in a laid back way that almost makes you feel like you’re just sat at the pub chatting with mates. Excellent production quality and amazing guests too.

The slow build up is very cleverly done. 22 episodes in and it’s mostly just running chat, but I’m sure the murdering is coming soon.

Great podcast - love the banter! Super insights into training and dealing with racing highs and lows. Love the mix of interviews and Q&As.

Great triathlon chat. Highly recommend this podcast to any triathlon fans because Joel used to do triathlons.

As a non Australian, the quality of cheese shopping in the greater Melbourne area is of great importance to me. I embarked on a journey to find out more. I stumbled upon this show, who purportedly were experts in the field. This is not the case. The show is run by two fellows that have voices...Read full review »

If you want to know more about the eighty club, this show is not for you. If you don’t want to get injured, don’t listen to former triathlete old Joel. Brett didn’t get a stitch because he ate too much cheese and don’t dare suggest he did, he does however hate Ed Goddard.

43 years ago, my dad left to get milk. I haven’t seen him since. As I wandered through the resultant emotional abyss in my formative years, I came across the For The Kudos podcast in a newspaper advertisement. Listening to the podcast changed my life. These 2 lovely gents (Joel & Brett) host my favorite podcast out there right now. This is a perfect blend of running/training talk, heavy hitter interviews with some of the best in the field, and even though they don’t need to hear this…they are genuinely very funny fellas. I stumbled on this podcast when I was browsing for a car washing podcast. Not sure why it came up in the search? It has nothing to do with cars, motorbikes or speed boats! Should someone check this? I’ve been listening to this podcast every day now for 7 years. ripped my marriage apart and I’ve missed both my kid’s weddings as well as the birth of my granddaughter. But hey they sure know about running, right?
grantHolloway via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 08/04/22
Brett and Joel are so laid back about this podcast they’re almost horizontal. It’s a great insight into professional athletics and their recent World Championships coverage was excellent. Both funny and the podcast is a breath of fresh air compared to stuffy, over-serious podcasts.

Wow. At the moment I’d struggle to go sub 22 for a 5k, but the way you chat make me feel like I’m allowed to be apart of the conversations. I’d have never known that the upper echelon runners of Australia are Julio’s. Cheers hombrés!
