“I am COMPLETELY IN LOVE with this podcast!! I'm a student fresh out of high school, during which I learned French for three years. But I felt as though I hadn't really been prepared to actually speak the language: I had a tiny vocabulary and no listening comprehension skills whatsoever. Nothing could coax me to speak the language. Not even my trip to Paris earlier this summer, when I was exposed to French 24/7. Even though I might've been able to speak a little, I knew I would never be able to understand the responses. So imagine my delight when I discovered this podcast. I've been listening to an episode every day and I am HOOKED! I floundered a little bit in the beginning as I tried to adjust to the tempo of the speakers, but now, 30 days in, you would not BELIEVE how quickly my comprehension level has skyrocketed!! In the beginning I used to understand about 10% of the episode..l now, I understand around 70%! On a regular basis! And I've only been listening for thirty days, and I know my level is going to continue to improve. I'm so excited. These podcasts have changed my life and really, really have had a major improvement on my french. I'm expanding my vocabulary and practicing my listening comprehension at the same time, and actually enjoying myself while I'm doing it! Best of all, these podcasts have made me feel like my French education isn't hopeless after all. They have encouraged me to start seeking out other French podcasts and grammar resources and even to start writing daily diary entries in French: something I never saw myself doing a few months ago! I really feel like I have the chance to be fluent someday. I can't thank you enough, Jessica! Merci beaucoup st s'il vous plaît continuez!! You have helped me so much!”Read full review »

“I have been listening to Jessica for some years now. She has helped improve my aural comprehension enormously. The reason why I have stayed so long is that I feel that I learn about people and professions that I would never have come across otherwise. The passion in the voices of her interviewees...”Read full review »
