I like the cheerful introduction (in English) by Jessica with a short list of vocabulary words to look out for — though sometimes these aren't the words _I_ would have chosen (ce n'est façile à choisir, j'imagine !).
I also like the long-form (half an hour +/-), which helps me to re-engage when I get a bit lost without simply burying me in voices. I like the variety of voices and topics, some of which are more challenging than others, or more interesting than others. C'est la vie, n'est-pas? That variety helps to broaden the range of comprehension. My French teacher in high school (decades ago) had good pronunciation, etc., but it was always her voice we heard, so it didn't always make it easier to understand a wide range of voices.”Read full review »
